A pile of struggles, hope, and a burning will to live. Seven individual struggles from hospital discharge are illustrated in a pile of hundreds of colourful zines, intended to be read and removed. Each time someone takes or reads one, my burdens are shared. As they’re taken, a drawing is revealed on the plinth below: the first hopeful image I created after leaving hospital.
